Questions

Before you write.

Where is Syra di Giovanni located?
Syra di Giovanni is a restored 1862 neoclassical mansion at 13 Nikolaos Papadam Street, in the heart of Ermoupoli, the capital of Syros in the Cyclades. Miaouli Square (the town hall square) is one minute on foot; the port is five minutes on foot.
What kind of accommodation is it?
A three-suite boutique residence — closer to a private historic mansion than a hotel. Each suite has its own character, hand-loomed linen, marble bathrooms and views of Ermoupoli's rooftops or neoclassical lanes.
How many suites are available?
Three independent suites — Amorosa (romantic, for two), Aurelia (family suite for up to four) and Aetheria (light-filled, for up to three). Two of them combined form The House (up to six); all three combined form The Mansion, for exclusive use of the entire residence (up to nine).
What do the suite names mean?
The names are inspired by Latin aesthetics — Amorosa (love), Aurelia (golden light), Aetheria (of the air) — chosen for the mood of each room, not for any towns or places.
How do I book a stay?
Send a booking request through the site or on WhatsApp with your dates and party size. Availability is confirmed personally by our concierge, usually within a few hours.
What is the minimum stay?
Three nights, so that guests can experience Ermoupoli beyond the ferry-day itinerary — Miaouli Square at dusk, the Vaporia quarter, and the rhythms of Syros as locals live them.
Is it suitable for a luxury stay in Syros?
Yes. Syra di Giovanni is a luxury boutique residence: a historic 1862 mansion, hand-restored interiors, three private suites, a personal concierge and a location in Ermoupoli's most storied streets — an alternative to conventional hotel stays in the Cyclades.
